The rest of the week was fun, we ended up staying with some members the rest of the week so, no hotel! It was awesome, they're so nice! They also had this adorable kitty, it was our little buddy. He slept in the room with us and purred at us and played with us, just fun(:

Week 14
We are nearing the end of this adventure! After this week, we have one week left! Hallelujah! So this week we went to Pensacola beach and that was fun! There jellyfish in the water, little tiny baby fish that swam in schools, then bigger fish that ate them, there were also crabs crawling on the sand and hiding in holes! It was so fun.

Week 13
This week was cah-razy. So we were supposed to leave for Pensacola on Monday, but everyone had car troubles but us! So we got kicked out of our apartment and we ended up staying with a Tongan/Hawaiian family, the Kelepi's! Such a sweet, giving family. One of their sons is a dancer and is in Dwayne Johnsons movie coming out next year! He's playing him as a younger bullied kid. Way cool. Such a fun cute sweet awesome amazing family.
So we made it to Pensacola! We got to our hotel and it turns out it wasn't paid for cause they had to have the physical company card...we eventually worked it out and we now live in a hotel. It's not so bad(: since this is a military town there's lots of turnover and it's very hard to find members. Sash had a funny thing happen but if you wanna know you can ask him...haha
Sasha also brought home a traveling hobo! His name is Matt and he's been a traveling hobo for 8 years! He's almost 31 but he looks 23 or so, crazy. He's jumped trains and been to just about every state. He doesn't stay in a city longer than a day or two, just a hitchhiker! Well we fed him dinner of egg drop soup and he slept on our floor. Fun guy, fun week!

Week 12
Well this week sucks. Sash left me Monday, after we watched Wall-E together. Talk about heart break...he came back Wednesday cause he got his card stolen and we went on our way to stay the rest of week out in the yonderness. We ended up staying with a nice family the first night. They were redoing their kitchen so that was fun haha the next couple days we stayed with the Russo's!! They're so sweet and fun. Brother Russo is a huge Ford guy. He has these sweet old cars that he fixes up and gives away! Super cool guy, super cute couple. I now regret not taking pictures of his cars...like for real. They were legit! He was working on an oldie ford truck and his every day car was an old ford Desoto! So fun and kind. What a fun week!

Week 11
On Sunday the boys had a bunch of people over from the singles ward. We were actually social! They made pasta and sang and played smash and some argued in Italian, it was fun!
On Wednesday we met with a little bit crazy family...their three or four year old little girl asked her dad for a napkin (they were eating spaghetti) and her dad yelled at her that there weren't any! It almost made me sick a little bit...poor little girl, he then went on to tell us how he wanted to kill two people that stressed him out. I thought he was gonna say he did kill them but he just wanted to "put 100 rounds in each guys chest". Crazy. They ended up getting five sets! So at least they're children will be raised with the Spirit. Fun times! Haha
On Thursday, Sasha left me to go work an area and live in his car for three days. So, when he came back his lips were a little swollen. GUESS WHAT HAPPENED. So, Sash went up to the door at a trailer park and knocked. This lady peeks through the window and will not make sense of what Sash is saying so this old man with a long bushy beard comes out the door in his whitey tighties and yells in his face "What the H*** you think you're doing!" And pops him in the mouth!!! What in the world!! I realize there are people in the world like that but seriously?! Sash did nothing to this man...and he gets popped...anyways, interesting week!

Week 10
Monday we went to New Sumerna beach!! Wayyy super fun. We saw a dolphin, pelicans and sadly dead crabs...
I got a little burned and dehydrated but it was wonderful nonetheless!! There were little dead jellyfish in the sand and Sash took one and threw it in my eye! I know. Luckily there were no stingy things on it.
We've had a fun week, we went out and worked hard. We gave a demo to a cute family where the mom was just diagnosed with breast cancer. They were so sweet and gave us banana bread! Yum. Other than that, nothing much else happened!
Week 9
This week was fun! I went out with Sasha several times and met some awesome families! One of which just moved down here from rexburg. They have two littles that are just unimaginably precious. They even offered us dinner, delicious vegetable pizza!! So kind. That's pretty much all that happened haha

Week 8
This week has been great! I've been coloring a lot and watching a bunch of movies. I tried to make Sash a good meal but uh....it didn't fast so good, I think I missed a step...
It was chicken rolled up with spinach and cream cheese wrapped in bacon with some red peppers. Sound delish right?? But it just didn't taste good. It was kinda bitter and slimy...but I can always try again!
Fourth of July weekend was awesome!! Sasha and I went to Gatorland!! A lady that Sash visited gave us free tickets! It was pretty sweet.
That night, the company gave us 12$ a person so me and Sasha went to Publix and got some delicious sushi, fresh salsa, coleslaw, and chips haha we had a fun little picnic in our room while we watched some One Piece!
Week 7
This week was my birthday!! My wonderful husband spent the whole day with me(: first we went to go see inside out! It was so cute and totally real and fun and it helps you realize you can't have joy without sadness and cool stuff like that. Anyways, after that awesome fun movie he took me to breakfast at Denny's. Yum! Then we came home and napped and watched other movies. That night we had cheesecake and yummy pizza! Sash even got me veggie straws!(: so all in all, it was a grrrrreeeat day! Later in the week my mom sent a package with wonderful things in it! It had food, a headband, an Olive Garden gift card, an awesome cool Nordic coloring book with colored pencils
and some pool rings haha since we have the tiniest pool. I ended up having an awesome week!
As for sash....people we're very unkind to him. One lady yelled at him for ten minutes! Someone posted on Facebook that he was using the ward list (not true-illegal) so it spread like wildfire and everyone believed it...most of the people that he did visit, had given their names to the company either to receive a free DVD or to start up with the program and they were the ones upset! Just plain ridiculous...but anyway, on Saturday he was visitng a family and a guy there was the husband of the lady that yelled at him for 10 minutes! So they started talking and he apologized and began to understand. He corrected it with some people in the ward and that was that. The missionaries were also there and they started calling people all over the ward to try and fix things as well! He ended up selling 15 sets that day(: I'm proud of my man!

Week 6
We had fun! Monday we went to the Yankees/Marlin game!! Well for the last inning... It was pretty far away and we got turned around at the field. It was way cool though! Marlins won!
The next day we packed up and made it to Orlando!
We have the smallest pool known to man. It's about 5' by 5'. Kinda fun but only for like 2 or 3 people...haha
I also killed a giant hissing cockroach.
It was so big and it wiggled around and I screamed and it hissed at me and I wanted to cry and I had to make myself count to three to hit it and I had to hit it six times and oh my gosh. Look how big it is next to my sunglasses!!
I also rescued a cute caterpillar(:
We also had our first Sunday with the new ward and everyone had little kids...it was crazy haha hopefully I'll get to do some babysitting!!

What I've learned of Miami
Police force: there is none. They don't care about traffic laws! My husband sped past an officer and didn't get pulled over. I've seen officers literally tell people to jaywalk...they are understaffed by at least 200, I was told, but no one wants to fill those positions.
People: everyone is so nice. There is such a community feeling and togetherness, it's great. Everyone I met was so kind to me. There are so many different cultures here! It's basically a huge melting pot. Our tiny branch has 8 different languages. There's a lot of people from Jamaica, Haiti, Cuba, Venezuela, Dom republic, and so many other places!
Driving: one word, awful. Basically, 80% is a first or second generation immigrant so not many people speak English so they can't read traffic signs/don't actually have a license. No one uses a blinker. Red lights last forever and at them, people leave so much space between cars. There's literally enough room for another car to fit extremely comfortably between the two stopped. Everybody cuts everybody off. To get anywhere you will probably perform 2-3 U-turns. There's many little drive safely signs with flowers and balloons. I guess a lot of people die in car accidents there.

Week 5
This week has been simple! I even got an egg that was double yolked!! Talk about an attitude booster.
Sadly, this is the most exciting thing to happen..
I wrote that early in the week...this week we actually met John Denney!! He's the snapper for the dolphins(: he's pretty cool and his wife wrote a book that's called The Girl Who Ate Everything. They have the cutest little girls with curly hair!! They also own all of the living scriptures! Cool right? So that was nice.
We also sold to an adorable family that is living in a run down pool house. They made walls with sheets and PVC pipe. They have the cutest kids...little blonde boys that are just full of energy and love.
Also our summer manager came down and took us to a movie! We saw Jurassic World. It was meh...the action was way cool but the story and the dialogue was just awful, no connections...super bad and cheesy..I did however love Chris Pratt with those raptors. It was a fun night!
Sunday we went to the singles ward because two of our buddies were speaking! It was very small, maybe twenty people and I must say, I'm glad to be out of there...

Week 4
We started out great!! We went to the beach Monday morning and that was way cool and fun. The water was so clear!! We saw crabs swimming in there and one pinched Trey (one of our fellow sellers)! The boys also played egg Russian roulette. Two thirds are boiled and one third is raw. You take turns smashing them on your head and the first one to get two raw loses!! It's pretty fun to watch. Here's some beach pictures!
After that Sash got some really bad back pain from a mix of things. He stayed home Wednesday and we went to the chiropractor on Thursday.
The doctor said that his x-rays look like he's been in a car accident. Needless to say, we went back Friday and Monday to continue constant treatment...on Thursday and Friday, Sasha wasn't feeling mobile enough to go sell so we ended up watching pretty much all of Miyazaki's films. Never thought I'd be interested in those! Then Saturday he rested in the morning so we ended up watching almost two seasons of The Office. What a week!

Week 3
What a great week!! We started it by having a BBQ with our branch president for Memorial Day. It was great! Swimming, eating and laughing. So fun!
I went out with Sasha many times this week, pretty much everyday. We met some great amazing people and sold 22 sets!! We also found so awesome ethnic food that was delish. I couldn't tell if it was Mexican or Cuban or what but it was good!
We went out with the missionaries too! We met a lady who just had heart surgery and she was pretty cool. We also helped deliver a BoM to a high school boy who ordered one online. He was so cute and sweet! Sash went out with them again on Saturday and met some others but what a blessing! Such a cool thing we get to do.
On Sunday we didn't get to attend a ward because Sasha was throwing up in the night. He felt pretty awful, but we made delicious BBQ chicken for dinner!!
Week 2
Week two went fine. I found some new recipes and made delicious things for my hubby(: he in the mean time had a very hard time. He went the whole week with no sales! The members of the ward just had knife salesmen come through and got a bad taste in their mouth about salesmen...unfortunately! We worked through it though! Because my man is amazing.

Day four - chairs!
Today was some new fun things. First we got chairs for the balcony!! What a relief we can actually sit down on something!! So that was amazing. I went for a short walk to the store to get some veggies for some meals and that walk was too short! I wanted to stay outside forever. So what did I do? I went and tried out the pool. So nice and warm and sun was just ahhh(: haha while I was there I found my friend Oscar:
This is Oscar(: well actually there's a million of these things everywhere. They have these red necks that flare out, it's super cool.
Something I've noticed here is that everyone talks on their Bluetooth thing in their ear. No one holds up their phone to speak! I always think they're talking to me and most the time it's in Spanish. Talk about confusing haha
Sash came home after a hard day and we made quesadillas while we watched food network. Life is good!
Day three, another day in the life
Well day three started great! We got our air conditioning fixed so it's nice and cool in our apartment now. I also went to the dollar store and checked stuff out for fun and look what I found there haha
A holy bible and roses with Saint Mary on them!! At the dollar store! Haha there are very many Hispanic people here needless to say. They even have to have bilingual wards which are majority only Spanish speakers, no English. You can imagine how hard it is to sell!
Anyways, after that fun adventure, the comcast guy came and we actually got internet! Can you believe it! Now I get netflix and Pinterest and all the goods.
Sash had a hard, long day selling but no sales :/ he's such a hard worker, I love him for that!

Day two: kindness
What a day of day two...we all got up and the boys worked out as I made them breakfast before their morning meeting/training. Breakfast consisted of dry fried eggs and broiled bread ("toast"). The boys were kind...haha I wished them luck on their way out the door wishing they could stay...
Meanwhile, I spent the day grocery shopping, reading and preparing dinner. Luckily there's a Winn-Dixie right across the street! I walked over there with my backpack thinking I could fill it then carry a bag or two home. It didn't turn out that way! I filled my backpack and had 7 other bags... Including a gallon of milk, eggs and bread. On my way back my fingers and shoulders were killing me! There was a group of three construction guys pounding concrete and they would throw pieces in a shopping cart. They saw me struggling across the street and they started unloading their cart so I could use it to my apartment. How nice! Such kindness...
Lastly, I finished my book:
It was so good!! It was about a boy with craniofacial anomalies and how he gets through his first year of middle school. It's so touching!
Well Sash got home and he told about his day. He drove around for 6 hours and no one would talk to him! He told himself he wouldn't eat lunch until he got in the door and by four o'clock he just needed to eat...he stopped by Taco Bell and of course lost his phone there. But after he went back and got it, he made a sale!!(: I couldn't be prouder of my hubby selling four sets his first day!!(:
Day One of Miami
Well we got to the apartment and it's just so cute, perfect and unfurnished..we're sleeping on the floor! There's such fun greenery around it's fun! Here's the view from our tiny kitchen window!
It's just so fun...so we got here and we don't have food and it's hot and there's all this checking in stuff we have to do so we're tired and ornery...so we went to lunch! We found this awesome little hole in the wall Mexican fast foodish place and I must say. Delicious!! They had a salsa bar and free chips and yumminess!! After that the boys went out to start working and sash actually got the cops called on him. After he got home at 10:30, we went to walmart and got some necessities and went to bed! What a first day.
Travel of a Lifetime
We had such a beautiful ride across Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama and all through Florida!! Just look at this view in Louisiana!
They have these roads that are just loaded with luscious trees on either side and a huge open sky, billowing with clouds! We went over several long bridges with gorgeous slow moving water. Just look!
Sorry that's mostly road but just look at it!! I love it, if you couldn't tell...haha the edge of the water is filled with trees that are bare all the way up and then poofy on top, just full of leaves. I love it here!

Intro to Us
My name is Stefanie Prosence and I married an amazing man named Sasha Prosence.
We've been married three months now but that doesn't mean we don't already have numerous memories. For instance, our wedding day. First, he forgot his temple recommend all the way back in Idaho when we were in Utah. Next, while we were in the temple, he realized he forgot my ring! We thankfully got it there by the help of friends. Since that day our memories have not slowed down. I hope to use this blog to remember the funny times we've had as we grow closer together.
