Week 8

This week has been great! I've been coloring a lot and watching a bunch of movies. I tried to make Sash a good meal but uh....it didn't fast so good, I think I missed a step...

It was chicken rolled up with spinach and cream cheese wrapped in bacon with some red peppers. Sound delish right?? But it just didn't taste good. It was kinda bitter and slimy...but I can always try again!

Fourth of July weekend was awesome!! Sasha and I went to Gatorland!! A lady that Sash visited gave us free tickets! It was pretty sweet.

I'll add more pictures and video later but it was so fun!!

That night, the company gave us 12$ a person so me and Sasha went to Publix and got some delicious sushi, fresh salsa, coleslaw, and chips haha we had a fun little picnic in our room while we watched some One Piece!

Week 7

This week was my birthday!! My wonderful husband spent the whole day with me(: first we went to go see inside out! It was so cute and totally real and fun and it helps you realize you can't have joy without sadness and cool stuff like that. Anyways, after that awesome fun movie he took me to breakfast at Denny's. Yum! Then we came home and napped and watched other movies. That night we had cheesecake and yummy pizza! Sash even got me veggie straws!(: so all in all, it was a grrrrreeeat day! Later in the week my mom sent a package with wonderful things in it! It had food, a headband, an Olive Garden gift card, an awesome cool Nordic coloring book with colored pencils

and some pool rings haha since we have the tiniest pool. I ended up having an awesome week!

As for sash....people we're very unkind to him. One lady yelled at him for ten minutes! Someone posted on Facebook that he was using the ward list (not true-illegal) so it spread like wildfire and everyone believed it...most of the people that he did visit, had given their names to the company either to receive a free DVD or to start up with the program and they were the ones upset! Just plain ridiculous...but anyway, on Saturday he was visitng a family and a guy there was the husband of the lady that yelled at him for 10 minutes! So they started talking and he apologized and began to understand. He corrected it with some people in the ward and that was that. The missionaries were also there and they started calling people all over the ward to try and fix things as well! He ended up selling 15 sets that day(: I'm proud of my man!

Week 6

We had fun! Monday we went to the Yankees/Marlin game!! Well for the last inning... It was pretty far away and we got turned around at the field. It was way cool though! Marlins won!

The next day we packed up and made it to Orlando!

Goodbye Miami):

We have the smallest pool known to man. It's about 5' by 5'. Kinda fun but only for like 2 or 3 people...haha

I also killed a giant hissing cockroach.

It was so big and it wiggled around and I screamed and it hissed at me and I wanted to cry and I had to make myself count to three to hit it and I had to hit it six times and oh my gosh. Look how big it is next to my sunglasses!!

I also rescued a cute caterpillar(:

We also had our first Sunday with the new ward and everyone had little kids...it was crazy haha hopefully I'll get to do some babysitting!!

What I've learned of Miami

Police force: there is none. They don't care about traffic laws! My husband sped past an officer and didn't get pulled over. I've seen officers literally tell people to jaywalk...they are understaffed by at least 200, I was told, but no one wants to fill those positions.

People: everyone is so nice. There is such a community feeling and togetherness, it's great. Everyone I met was so kind to me. There are so many different cultures here! It's basically a huge melting pot. Our tiny branch has 8 different languages. There's a lot of people from Jamaica, Haiti, Cuba, Venezuela, Dom republic, and so many other places!

Driving: one word, awful. Basically, 80% is a first or second generation immigrant so not many people speak English so they can't read traffic signs/don't actually have a license. No one uses a blinker. Red lights last forever and at them, people leave so much space between cars. There's literally enough room for another car to fit extremely comfortably between the two stopped. Everybody cuts everybody off. To get anywhere you will probably perform 2-3 U-turns. There's many little drive safely signs with flowers and balloons. I guess a lot of people die in car accidents there.

Week 5

This week has been simple! I even got an egg that was double yolked!! Talk about an attitude booster.

Sadly, this is the most exciting thing to happen..

I wrote that early in the week...this week we actually met John Denney!! He's the snapper for the dolphins(: he's pretty cool and his wife wrote a book that's called The Girl Who Ate Everything. They have the cutest little girls with curly hair!! They also own all of the living scriptures! Cool right? So that was nice.

We also sold to an adorable family that is living in a run down pool house. They made walls with sheets and PVC pipe. They have the cutest kids...little blonde boys that are just full of energy and love.

Also our summer manager came down and took us to a movie! We saw Jurassic World. It was meh...the action was way cool but the story and the dialogue was just awful, no connections...super bad and cheesy..I did however love Chris Pratt with those raptors. It was a fun night!

Sunday we went to the singles ward because two of our buddies were speaking! It was very small, maybe twenty people and I must say, I'm glad to be out of there...

Week 4

We started out great!! We went to the beach Monday morning and that was way cool and fun. The water was so clear!! We saw crabs swimming in there and one pinched Trey (one of our fellow sellers)! The boys also played egg Russian roulette. Two thirds are boiled and one third is raw. You take turns smashing them on your head and the first one to get two raw loses!! It's pretty fun to watch. Here's some beach pictures!

After that Sash got some really bad back pain from a mix of things. He stayed home Wednesday and we went to the chiropractor on Thursday.

The doctor said that his x-rays look like he's been in a car accident. Needless to say, we went back Friday and Monday to continue constant treatment...on Thursday and Friday, Sasha wasn't feeling mobile enough to go sell so we ended up watching pretty much all of Miyazaki's films. Never thought I'd be interested in those! Then Saturday he rested in the morning so we ended up watching almost two seasons of The Office. What a week!

Week 3

What a great week!! We started it by having a BBQ with our branch president for Memorial Day. It was great! Swimming, eating and laughing. So fun!

I went out with Sasha many times this week, pretty much everyday. We met some great amazing people and sold 22 sets!! We also found so awesome ethnic food that was delish. I couldn't tell if it was Mexican or Cuban or what but it was good!

We went out with the missionaries too! We met a lady who just had heart surgery and she was pretty cool. We also helped deliver a BoM to a high school boy who ordered one online. He was so cute and sweet! Sash went out with them again on Saturday and met some others but what a blessing! Such a cool thing we get to do.

On Sunday we didn't get to attend a ward because Sasha was throwing up in the night. He felt pretty awful, but we made delicious BBQ chicken for dinner!!

Week 2

Week two went fine. I found some new recipes and made delicious things for my hubby(: he in the mean time had a very hard time. He went the whole week with no sales! The members of the ward just had knife salesmen come through and got a bad taste in their mouth about salesmen...unfortunately! We worked through it though! Because my man is amazing.
